Embedded Rails
Embedded crane rail a proven technology that offers a revolutionary method of installing rail into concrete deck or similar applications.
Rapid Rail has extensive experience of this material and work very closely with the world leading manufacturer in the development of embedded rail systems. This important alliance means that we can offer this solution to our customers and eradicate the many problems which are occasionally associated with ground rails.
Features of Embedded Rail Systems
The embedded rail system has no requirement for traditional mechanical fastenings such as clips, anchors and base plates. Embedded rails are connected to the underlying slab with continuous elastic rail support, which delivers both flexibility and durability. The new crane rail can be precisely levelled and aligned into the complete chase in one operation after welding. A crane rail sealed into the floor provides all the load bearing and functionality required at today’s modern facilities.
Benefits of an Embedded Rail System
- Rail fractures are reduced and corrugation almost eliminated due to horizontal and vertical force distribution
- Maximum electrical insulation
- Reduction in rail wear
- Important engineering advantages
Health, Safety and the Environment
Rapid Rail is committed to supplying safe products and systems as well as enforcing an ongoing adherence to and development of working practices within the realm of engineering work and associated services which they are proud to offer their valued customers.
The Rapid Rail / Edilon Embedded Rail System is manufactured in compliance with the legislative requirements for health, safety and the environment. All Rapid Rail installation engineers are fully certified. Technical documents are produced and supplied regarding the use, effects, installation and removal of the system.
